Allotments

The Town Council owns the allotment land at Flixton Road which is managed by the Bungay Allotments and Gardens Association.

There are currently around 20 plots let to residents of Bungay, with upwards of 12 people on the waiting list at any one time.

Tenants are encouraged to keep their plots tended at all times and most do, enjoying healthy exercise and home-grown vegetables and fruits.

With the help of a Town Council grant, the Association has also been able to erect a communal shed for tenants, erected in an unworked corner of the plot.

Some of the plots are half plots and it is always worth getting in touch with the Association to see if any tenants are willing to share their plots.
